Yuri Rangel has served diligently as a Classroom Instructional Assistant who strives to ensure that students are always maximizing their learning potential. In particular, Ms. Rangel works side-by-side with both, general education teachers and Education Specialists at Landmark Middle School to improve the literacy of students who have been identified as having a learning disability. Some strategies Ms. Rangel uses to support literacy development include, but are not limited to, ensuring students partake in read-aloud, ongoing vocabulary activities, visualizations, and group activities. As a result, literacy skills have improved greatly for students and Ms. Rangel has built positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
