The Guiding Principles of LMS Instrumental Music
Catalyst for Social Transformation: Our goal is to use the transformative power of music in order to effect positive change in the lives of our students, instilling in them an unwavering pursuit of musical excellence.
The Vital Role of Ensembles: The core of our pedagogical approach lies in the ensemble experience. This immersive setting fosters group learning, sectional refinement, and regular public performances, cultivating well-rounded musicians.
A Commitment to Rigor and Dedication: Music is a daily part of our students' school routine. They can also participate in after-school clubs, festivals, trips, and extra rehearsals. These activities demand personal responsibility due to their challenging and energetic nature.
Inclusive Excellence: We believe that every student deserves a great music education, and we make sure no one gets left out.
Empowering Peer Learning: Our commitment to the mantra "Each one, Teach one" empowers each student to assume the role of a mentor, actively contributing to the collective growth and development of our musical ensembles.
